Wagoneers: Entering Grade 6 (& 5 on select weeks)


Have you ever wondered what is was like to be a pioneer and sleep in a covered wagon? Here’s your chance to find out!

You and your camp friends will learn how to cook your meals over an open fire. Horseback riding, swimming, mountain biking, hiking, pool party, Bible Study, nature time, crafts, and campfires are just a few of the fun things you might enjoy during your weeks as a Wagoneer!

Adventurers: Entering Grades 7-8


Come join us for this popular middle school program!

This program includes FUN, adventures designed just for you! You will spend part of your week in Frontier Town and enjoy many of your favorite camp activities such as horseback riding, swimming, crafts, games, and some exciting new choices in your day!

Your group will also camp out, canoe, and explore local waterfront for two days and nights. It will be a fun, friendship-filled, week of adventure!

Horse Camp: Entering Grades 6-8


Do you LOVE horses? Want to spend a week riding and learning all about them?

Come to Horse Camp for a great hands-on horse experience!

You will be with the horses daily, go on extra rides, learn how to care for horses, and even help the wranglers with tack and saddles. There will still be time for your other favorite camp activities like swimming, Bible study, games, and more!

Confirmation Camp:Entering Grades 6-8*

June 16-21 & July 21-26

Sugar Creek offers two exciting weeks of Confirmation Camp. Campers can enjoy all of the great activities of camp, meet new friends, and spend time with their confirmation class in one of our lodges or a midst God’s glorious Creation! The rest of the time is spent with your counselors and cabin group canoeing, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, and more!

JAM CAMP: Entering Grades 4-12    June 30-July 2


FARM CAMP: Entering Grades 4-12   June 30-July 2


Come join us for this fun week of unique Sugar Creek programming! Farm Camp is a week of hands-on experience practicing creation stewardship, while learning farm-to-table gardening practices. The goal of Jam Camp is to help nurture an appreciation for gifts related to music. Local guitar teachers will be onsite to help teach young musicians either new techniques or beginning lessons to those who have never played before. All are welcome.

Campers for both programs will be housed in cabins, participate in Bible study and devotions according to grade level. For Jam Camp Guitar/Ukulele lessons will occur twice a day (M-T), and will be conducted in a small group setting (1 instructor to 3-6 campers).Campers housed in Seeker cabins/Frontier Village.

Cost:  $225 for this 1/2 week program
Pedal & Paddle: Entering Grades 8 & 9
Would you like to try an exciting, outdoor adventure? Do you like biking, canoeing, camping and more? Then this off-site program is just for you!

You’ll bike the scenic Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail, canoe the breathtakingly, beautiful Kickapoo River, and camp out along the way. Your travel adventures will also include fun camp activities such as, games, campfires, Bible Study, group-building and more! Come with your youth group, a friend, or make friends along the way!

This program is also great for confirmation groups who want to bond in a new way! If the weeks offered on the schedule don’t work for your confirmation group, call camp and we can work together to find another week that will work for both of us! 

We provide the equipment and staff. Campers should bring their own helmet and if possible bring a bike in good working order. **Campers entering this program should be able to bike at least 5 miles a day at a steady pace.**
