Wagoneers: Entering Grade 6

June 14-19, June 28-July 3, July 19-24, & August 2-7

This favorite Sugar Creek program will give campers the opportunity to live life like the pioneers on the Oregon Trail for a week! The Wagoneers will learn to build and cook over fires, ride horses, shoot at our archery range, swim in the pool, and participate in daily Bible studies, devotions, and experience world class campfire worships.

Campers stay in covered wagons, each featuring their own fire-pit and covered picnic shelter. Join the wagon train and stay in one of the most beautiful and secluded valleys at Sugar Creek!

Adventurers: Entering Grades 7-8

June 21-26, June 28-July 3, July 12-17, July 19-24, & August 2-7

Adventure camp and beyond with this popular middle school program! Campers will spend part of the week on camp staying in cabins at Frontier Village and depart for a two-night excursion on the mighty Mississippi! Canoeing, swimming, games, shooting at our archery range, and cooking on wood burning stoves are among the activities in which Adventurers will partake.

The campers will encounter Christ through daily Bible studies, devotions, and engaging worships. Don’t miss out on this chance for a true adventure!

Horse Camp: Entering Grades 6-8

June 21-26, July 5-10, & July 26-31

Come to Horse Camp for a week-long, hands-on horse experience! Horse campers will become best friends with our wranglers, and horses, by going on multiple horse rides, assisting with grooming and tacking up horses, and they will go on an overnight adventure, with the horses, on top of the bluff.

Campers also have the chance to participate in other classic camp activities including swimming at the pool, games, and campfires. Campers participate in devotions, Bible studies, and worships daily. These important times remind campers that they are loved by Christ. Horse campers will stay in our covered wagons and will be visited daily by our wagon team!

Confirmation Camp: Entering Grades 7-9 (Generally)

June 14-19, July 5-10, & July 26-31

Sugar Creek offers three exciting weeks of Confirmation Camp. Campers can enjoy all of the great activities of camp, meet new friends, and spend time with their confirmation class in one of our lodges or a midst God’s glorious Creation! The rest of the time is spent with your counselors and cabin group canoeing, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, and more!

Night Camp: Entering Grade 8

June 28-July 3 & July 12-17

Experience the beauty of Sugar Creek under the light of the stars and moon at Night Camp! Campers will spend late nights building epic campfires, encountering nocturnal critters, playing fun games, and participating in fun beautification projects that campers from other programs will enjoy the next morning.

Aside from the unique night time activities, campers will also have an opportunity to be apart of classic camp experiences like swimming at the pool, Christ Hike, Bible studies, devotions, and worships! Join us for this Sugar Creek program that is like no other!

Elevated: Entering Grades 6-8

July 5-10

Strap up your boots and hammocks for this epic camp adventure! Campers will journey to special campsites each day stopping for devotions, Bible studies, and worships along the way. Aside from all the new places campers will discover, returners will find some familiar locations as well including the pool, challenge course, and art barn!

Campers will sleep at multiple campsites, in their hammocks, throughout the week! There will be rooms in one of our lodges reserved for them in case of bad weather.

*If campers do not have hammocks, we do have custom Sugar Creek hammocks available for purchase in our clothing canteen on Sunday during registration.

Pedal & Paddle: Entering Grades 8-10

June 28-July 3, July 12-17, & July 26-31

Would you like to try an exciting, outdoor adventure? Do you like biking, canoeing, camping and more? Then this off-site program is just for you!

You’ll bike the scenic Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail, canoe the breathtakingly, beautiful Kickapoo River, and camp out along the way. Your travel adventures will also include fun camp activities such as, games, campfires, Bible Study, group-building and more! Come with your youth group, a friend, or make friends along the way!

This program is also great for confirmation groups who want to bond in a new way! If the weeks offered on the schedule don’t work for your confirmation group, call camp and we can work together to find another week that will work for both of us! 

We provide the equipment and staff. Campers should bring their own helmet and if possible bring a bike in good working order. **Campers entering this program should be able to bike at least 5 miles a day at a steady pace.**
