Fine Arts Camp: Entering Grades 6-12   June 11-16

Join us for a new program, built just for you.  Whether you know where your passion lays or you are interested in learned something new, experience a variety of different topics.  Music, Art, Drama, Dance, and Photography are just some of the different arts you will learn during the week.  With plenty of time to learn about each, and time for all the camp activities you love, this week is sure to be a blast!   Cost: Tiered Pricing img_7608

Pedal & Paddle: Entering Grades 8 & 9

Would you like to try an exciting, outdoor adventure? Do you like biking, canoeing, camping and more? Then this off-site program is just for you! You’ll bike the scenic Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail, canoe the breathtakingly, beautiful Kickapoo River, and camp out along the way. Your travel adventures will also include fun camp activities such as, games, campfires, Bible Study, group-building and more! Come with your youth group, a friend, or make friends along the way! This program is also great for confirmation groups that want to bond in a new way! If the weeks offered on the schedule don’t work for your confirmation group, call camp and we can work together to find another week that will work for both of us! We provide the equipment and staff. YES Camp: Entering grades 9-12

Come join us for our On-Site high school program; Youth Empowered to Serve (YES Camp)! Spend the week at camp developing leadership skills, while also enjoying some new camp activities! Horseback riding, swimming, crafts, hiking, music, and bible studies are just of the few activities you will enjoy! Our YES Camp program is built around the great commission; “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” and how we can put that into action in our lives. Similar to our part of the SIT-LIT program, YES Camp will have a stronger focus on being a leader in your church, school, and community. Register now for a fun and friendship-filled week!

Riverboaters:  Entering Grades 9-12

Join friends new and old on a memory-making journey down the Mississippi River! You can explore the dunes, swim, slide, boat, laugh, and play in the beauty of God’s amazing creation! Enjoy campfires and Bible study on the sandbars as well as intentional community-building activities. Each boat group consists of up to 10 campers and 2 counselors, one of whom is a lifeguard. Junior Wranglers: Entering Grades 9-12

Saddle up for a week of hands-on experience with the camp wranglers and team driver. Help with the horse program at Sugar Creek, assist on trail rides, and learn about tack care, horsemanship, safety concerns, and general horse care. Many Hands Mission Trip: Entering Grades 9-12

JUNE 25-30, 2017

This year, Sugar Creek’s High School Mission Trip will travel from camp at 1PM on Sunday June 25th (note change from normal camp check in schedule) to the Duluth, MN area. Mission Trip youth will return to camp on Friday, June 30th by 2 PM.

Mission Trip members will work alongside staff members and other volunteers at a nonprofit human services agency called CHUM in Duluth. Sugar Creek Mission Trip members will serve in a variety of ways depending upon the daily needs of the organization and the people it serves.

CHUM is sponsored and governed by an interfaith coalition of 40 faith communities. and operates Duluth’s largest food shelf and provides emergency shelter and supportive services for homeless individuals and families. CHUM also helps people find housing and employment, access public benefits, and receive basic medical care. Additionally, it operates a Drop-In Center (day shelter) where people can pick up mail (both physical and e-mail), do their laundry, have a hot meal, socialize over games or conversations and, perhaps most importantly, find a warm and welcoming community where they can be safe, heard, and respected.

Staff in Training – Leaders in Training: Entering Grades 11-12

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work at Sugar Creek? Are you interested in being a leader in your home congregation? In this two-week program, you will experience group building and adventure activities, hone your leadership skills, and learn the basics of being on camp staff. The second week you will shadow a counselor in a cabin and help lead activities like games, Bible studies, pool time, and campfires. (SIT-LITs go home on weekends). Cost: $450 or Tier 1 (your choice)  **Cost applies to entire 2 week program

Hands On: Entering Grades 9-12   June 18-23

Join us for a Hands on experience working as a team member and as a leader.  Your week will be built around spending time serving the camp through service projects, while also participating in many camp activities.  You will also get to spend a day and a half on the river in one of our voyageur canoes, building leadership skills while working together.  This program has been remodeled form the past and we can guarantee that it will be something new for all of you!  Cost: $275 img_4480
