Sugar Creek Bible Camp and Retreat Center (SCBC) Ferryville, Wisconsin is an outdoor ministry “Where all generations encounter Christ, experience God’s grace, and are empowered by the Holy Spirit to go forth in faith.” SCBC is seeking a full-time Executive Director to build on 53 years of innovative camping and retreat ministry, who is committed to living in relationship with Sugar Creek’s constituent congregations in southwestern Wisconsin and the surrounding area.
The Executive Director will work in partnership with the camp staff to facilitate outdoor ministry and retreat programs. He or she will have experience in financial management, fundraising, marketing, and personnel management. The Executive Director will expand existing financial resources, develop new ones, and grow the camp’s volunteer base. The successful candidate shall be well-versed in Lutheran theology and faith, and implement those Lutheran values in the context of outdoor ministry and retreat programs. SCBC is over 600 acres of valleys and bluffs nestled in the Driftless Region of the Mississippi River.
